Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program has partnered with local artist Kara Hoblin, the North Fork Art Collective, and Borghese Vineyard to present a Buoys for the Bays Art + Awareness Event. Through this initiative artwork will be created on reclaimed fishing buoys, curated into an exhibit in the vineyard’s gallery, and auctioned to raise funds for CCE Marine Program.

For novice artists wanting to receive guidance in painting a buoy by professional artists, we will be holding a “Buoys for the Bays Painting Party” at 6pm on October 12th at Borghese Vineyard. For a $20 donation you will receive all painting materials and instruction, a complimentary glass of Rose for the Bays, and a Back to the Bays Membership Package! Buoys painted at this event will be featured in the exhibit and opening celebration on October 20th and listed for sale in support of Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program’s “Back to the Bays Initiative”.
